“ My food was unique and delicious. The roasted potatoes were piping hot and perfectly crispy. Loved the “cheese” sauce. The waiter was very attentive, proactive, and kind. Clean, calm, friendly vibe here. Can’t wait to return to try other things on their menu. ”
“ What an absolute gem! I was fortunate enough to walk into Nanita my first afternoon in Oaxaca...and returned two more times throughout the week. The space is simply beautiful with the warmness of color, plants, delicious food, and brilliant owners :) I had the pleasure of enjoying the burrito, chilaquiles, and the pozole. Along with both delicious dessert options. So many items are made in-house. Cheese! Chorizo. And more. So creative and delicious. I could have sat for hours enjoying...and I did! Ay Nanita! Gracias por todos! ”
“ I ate the burrito, it was delightful and very very nutritive! The chef also gave me a coconut mango cookie, and it was absolutely delicious ! Also the place is really cute and the service is awesome ”
“ We came across the cafe accidentally. The furnishings and ambience alone convinced us! The vegetarian options were our reason to stay. The breakfast was great. The grilled burrito was the best we ate on our trip through Mexico. The people are also super friendly, relaxed and interested, but not intrusive. An all-round positive experience! ”
“ The restaurant is simple straightforward vegan food . Very flavorful too. We had the chilaquiles and the power bowl both were really unique and tasty . The home vegan ice cream and cookies were an added bonus , you’d never guess they were vegan. Friendly folks and super reasonable prices. ”
“ My boyfriend and I were in Oaxaca City for a week and had one of our first meals here. We were blown away by the quality and the amazing flavors of everything we tried at Nanita! We arrived very hungry after walking around the city all morning and had the pozole, chilaquiles, and split a power bowl. The drinks were also spot on. I had a cold brew and my boyfriend had the hibiscus limeade. Both amazing! The restaurant is also very charming with inviting decor and a peaceful atmosphere. It’s situated on a very pleasant and quiet street. After lunch, we took two cookies to go and wandered around the streets of Jalatlaco to see all the beautiful buildings, murals, and the church. I have recommended this restaurant to friends coming into Oaxaca this week, and will definitely be back return on our next trip! ”
“ We loved this place while visiting Oaxaca!! The chilaquiles are *chefs kiss* amazing! The dishes are made from scratch and honor the flavors that are integral part of our delicious Mexican culture. It truly was a delight to enjoy these flavors in a way that respects our animal friends and the earth. Thank you to Eduardo and Drew for your warmth, kindness, and gustatory creativity!! We hope to see you again! ”
“ Loved their vegan chilaquiles. Lemonade was also delicious and not too sweet. Friendly staff! ”
